Topic: “ The University of the Holy Ghost: Learning God’s Ways.

Anchor Scripture: Romans 8:26 (NIV).

“Also, the Spirit helps us when we are weak. We do not know what we should pray for, but the Spirit himself speaks to God for us with groans that words cannot express.”

Thank you, Lord, for helping me express myself through You today. May everyone who reads this be blessed in Jesus' name. Amen.

Today, let's remember that a university is a place for learning, growth, and training. The Holy Ghost also teaches us, empowers us, comforts us, and guides us.

I want to share a story to show why everyone should learn from the Holy Ghost.

One day, a spirit-filled child of God was cooking when she suddenly started speaking in tongues. She could not stop, even though she tried. She was unsure what the Spirit was saying but felt the need to continue. So, she put cooking aside and spent about an hour speaking in tongues. Afterward, she felt lighter and returned to her cooking.

A little later, her phone rang. It was her younger sister, calling from the hospital. Worried, she asked her sister what happened.

Her sister said, “I was about to open my door when I felt dizzy. I wanted to cry out for help, but I couldn’t. The next thing I knew, I woke up in the hospital.”

God had sent a neighbor, who hadn’t seen her for a few days, to check on her. The neighbor knocked on her door. When no one answered, he felt something urge him to push the door open. He found her lying on the floor and called for help. Thankfully, she had just been revived in the hospital.

When the sister figured out the timing, she realized it matched perfectly with the time she had been speaking in tongues. This is how God saved her younger sister’s life.

The scripture reminds us that we often don’t know what to pray for, but the Holy Spirit helps us.

How does the Holy Ghost help us?

The Holy Spirit prays for us. Sometimes, when you pray, you may find yourself speaking in the Spirit. This means that the Holy Ghost is trying to show you that there are more urgent matters to address than what you are currently praying for.

You might have a dream that you cannot remember, or you might hear a sermon that could help you, but you don’t act on it.

This is why every child of God should be filled with the Holy Spirit and seek His gifts. Every believer should engage in this spiritual education because your pastor will not always be available. The best prayers come when you pray for yourself, guided by the Spirit.

Guide: The Holy Spirit is God’s Spirit. He guides our thoughts. If you feel uneasy about going somewhere, pray in the Holy Ghost. If you pray sincerely, He may help you see the challenges ahead.

Reflection: Let us think about today’s message about how the Holy Spirit helps us and thank God for His help.

Prayers: Thank you, Father, for the gift of the Holy Spirit. We give You all the praise, in Jesus' name. Amen.
