Get ready for a powerful declaration, because today we’re diving deep into an uplifting truth: You will not die like a chicken! This bold proclamation, often echoed by our Senior Pastor, Dr. Paul Enenche, serves as a clarion call for strength, purpose, and resilience.

Let’s take a moment to reflect on the life of a chicken. Did you know that chickens are among the most abused animals on the planet? They live in unfortunate conditions, often suffering throughout their lives. In many parts of the world, those that roam freely are at risk from cars and predators. Simply put, they are vulnerable, and there’s nothing glorious about that.

Chickens may be domesticated, but let’s be real: they are not treated with love. Instead, they are often seen as a means to an end—a meal. When you’re told you have a “chicken brain,” it’s an insult, symbolizing timidity and fear. That’s something we NEVER want to embody!

Unlike the majestic eagle, who soars high and with confidence, chickens can’t reach great heights. You won’t find a chicken treading upon mountains; their feet are not built for strong, firm ground. We are called to soar like eagles, running toward our destiny with unwavering strength!

Each year, billions of chickens are slaughtered, many facing sudden and painful deaths. Dying like a chicken means experiencing a fate we never want to face: sudden demise, suffering before death, or being marked for death during specific seasons—especially around holidays when they are sought after.

But today, let us declare: **We will rise above that!** We are meant to navigate the challenges of life robustly, finding our voices and making them heard! Can I get an amen?
