Anchor Scripture: Job 22:28 NIV “You shall decree a thing, and it shall come to pass.”

INTRODUCTION

ART captivates many people because its works often appear nonsensical, especially to those who do not appreciate it. At times, all you see are colors, yet each stroke—thin, thick, or faint—tells a unique story. What may look like mere splashes and lines begins to unfold when the artist shares the story behind the work. This illustrates the Creative Edge that is inherently part of our nature.

The act of creation starts in the mind, prompting a common question:

HOW CAN I BE CREATIVE?

That is a great question! Everyone has the inherent ability to be creative. The Almighty God, the greatest artist of all time, created you in His likeness and image. Thus, the Creative Edge is already within you. However, the expertise to become a skilled creator sets apart those who truly stand out.

Since you are created in the likeness of God, you have inherited the ability to create good things with your mind. Just begin to craft your own world, just as God did in the beginning of Genesis. You may say, “My world is already shattered; how can I create my world?” Yes, you can—if you believe.

HOW TO MAKE MEANING OUT OF LIFE

God Himself faced a similar situation: He looked deep into chaos and darkness and found nothing. But then He allowed His Spirit to move over the void and declared, “Let there be light” and there was light (Genesis 1:3. Everything came into existence because light emerged, bringing form and substance from nothing. This highlights the power of words.

You possess the Spirit of Sonship, and within you is the spiritual DNA of God. You have His traits, meaning the Creative inheritance is embedded in you.

DISCOVER AND LEARN HOW TO DECLARE THE WORDS OF GOD.

There is immense power in the words of God. As Jesus said, the words He speaks are life and spirit (John 6:63) Proverbs (4:22)states that the word is life to those who find it and health to all their flesh. Start each morning by declaring positive words over yourself, especially when you face confusion. Search for His words that are relevant to your situation.
