Topic: Wisdom For Living

Anchor Scripture: “A man who has friends must be friendly. But there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.” Proverbs 18:24 KJV

Observations Inspired by Animal Behavior

The Bible encourages us to look closely at the world around us, including the behavior of animals. Take the ants mentioned in Proverbs 30:25, for instance. These industrious creatures teach us the importance of resourcefulness and teamwork. They prepare wisely for the future, working together without the need for a ruler.

Speaking of animal wisdom, have you ever watched male pups interact with female pups? It’s quite enlightening! In their playful sparring, the males often let the females "win." This charming gesture isn’t just play—it’s a clever way to build connections and understanding. Isn’t that a lesson in nurturing relationships?

Reflection: Finding the Lesson in Life

How can we take this lesson from the animal kingdom and apply it to our lives? Building friendships requires effort and an openness to one another. Instead of waiting for someone to approach you, why not break the ice? Start a conversation with those around you—who knows what connections you might create!

It’s essential to approach friendship with a humble heart. Don’t hold on to every little annoyance; sometimes, it’s best to let things slide. Later, when the time is right, share your thoughts with your partner or friends.

Our Mission: Embrace Selflessness

Let’s strive to lead selfless lives, fostering stronger bonds and encouraging those around us!

Prayer:

Heavenly Father, grant us the wisdom and love to cultivate selfless hearts that shine brightly in our friendships. In Jesus' name, amen.
