Who Do You Think You Are? Discover the power of mindset.
Are you struggling with self-doubt, low self-esteem, or feeling like your life's purpose is slipping away? Discover your true identity in Christ, overcome negative mindsets, and step into the bold future God designed for you using powerful biblical truths from 1 Peter 2:9.
~THE POWER OF YOUR MINDSET
It was the late American author and motivational speaker Denis Waitley who said, "It's not who you are that holds you back. It's who you think you are not."
Your mindset shapes your personality and determines how far you will go in life. Self-doubt can blind you to your true self-worth, great talents, and divine gifts if you let a few temporary failures defeat you.
~WHAT IS MINDSET ?
It's the choices, the attitudes that shapes how you behave, reacts to situation around you or to the world. It's an established way of or taking decisions in life.I
~THE DEVILS STRAWBERRY.
when the enemy really wants to destroy a destiny in a subtly way, he does not always attack by cutting of the limbs through accidents or other dangerous ways. Most times, he captures the mind. Because he knows that if he could capture a person's mind, he has captured the entirety of such a person.
~The pseudocyesis,( The false pregnancy or phantom pregnancy.
Have you heard of the above condition in women?. It's occur when a desperate woman who is seeking the fruit of the womb suddenly manifest the signs of a pregnancy. Like the these Symptoms: Nausea
~Gaining weight
~Monthly flow stopped
~Craving .
Though, She is not pregnant, but because of her mindset, she thinks she is pregnant.
Have you ever seen a mad man woman fulfilling destiny ? I know he can not because his mind has been captured. His reasoning capacity is gone, of course, he does not know who is he. Infact, a mad sees only himself as normal , while every other person remains abnormal in his mind. So, if the world sees you as a failure, and you agree with them as a failure just because, you failed in one or two areas of life. Then you are, because even the Almighty God cannot help you. This is why, your mind is actually who you are.
The Teens Dilemma:
When a teen suddenly wake up one morning and argued that he/ She suddenly have an hormone that is the same with Dogs, when ,how do you think, such a person can be helped. The enemy whispers to him or her, can't you see , you are a dog, then she agrees, and starts manifesting all kinds of his behavior.
DIGGING FURTHER:
When the enemy wants to derail a destiny, he rarely attacks physically. Instead, he tries to capture your mind through lies, making you forget who God created you to be. As Proverbs 4:23 (NLT) warns:
"Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life."
Who Does God Say You Are?
If you have been listening to negative whispers, look at what 1 Peter 2:9 (NIV) says about your true identity:
~A Chosen People: You are never an accident. Even if your arrival was unexpected by your biological parents, you were meticulously planned by God.
~A Peculiar Person: You are a rare gem, uniquely special to God, not an everyday person. Walk with holy confidence.
~A Royal Priesthood: Royalty runs through your spiritual bloodline. Because the spiritual realm rules the physical, you carry divine authority wherever you go.
~A Holy Nation: You are sanctified, set apart for good works rather than evil. Shame and reproach are never your portion.
~God’s Special Possession: You are trusted by God to represent Him as an ambassador through your behavior, speech, career, and business.
As Ephesians 2:10 reminds us: "For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago."
~GUARDING AGAINST DISTRACTIONS
The enemy often distracts us by shifting our attention to mundane things or minor problems, making us feel productive while keeping us from our greater purpose.
Furthermore, negative environments—such as toxic peer groups or internal doubts—can make you feel unloved and defeated.
To combat this, daily saturate your mind with God's Word, stay active in a supportive fellowship of believers, and remember that Matthew 5:14 calls you the light of the world: a city on a hill that cannot be hidden.
~REFLECTION PROMPTS:
Take a quiet moment today to honestly tell yourself who you truly are. Remember, you are not defined by the opinions of your haters. Stand firm on the truths found in 1 Peter 2:9.
~JOURNALING PROMPT
Carefully identify and write down the specific areas of your life where you currently struggle with self-doubt or low confidence.
Bring these areas to God in prayer, asking Him to replace every lie with His truth.
