Anchor Scripture: Ecclesiastes 3:2 NLT - “For everything there is a season, a time for every activity under heaven.”

Welcome! Today is a good day rejoice and be glad. Recently, I watched a Christian movie about a man destined for a remarkable purpose, meant to use his singing ministry to set captives free and break down the gates of hell. The kingdom of darkness was aware of what this baby would become as he grew, and they were waiting for him.

On the day of his birth in the hospital, the kingdom of darkness had already assembled its agents in the form of nurses, a midwife, and a doctor, with a mandate to ensure that the baby did not survive. However, God had a different plan. Heavy rainfall kept the scheduled doctor and midwife away, leaving another doctor and midwife who had just completed their rounds to attend to the delivery. These two were fervent Christians who prayed in tongues when they noticed complications during the birth.

The baby grew up to be a gifted man with a powerful singing ministry. He was blessed with great anointing and was placed under the guidance of a pastor known for his grace and prayers. Nevertheless, the kingdom of darkness never gave up on him. By the time he was thirty years old, it was his season and time. Although he was popular, he was unaware that he was about to be taken to even greater glory because he couldn't discern it due to his life circumstances filled with sin, lies, and the pursuit of financial gain. Despite having a fiancée, he continually made excuses to avoid settling down with her.

His spiritual father, the pastor of his church, tried multiple times to help him get his life in order, but he consistently lied to cover his actions. One day, after an announcement was made for him to minister at his church, he disappointed everyone by flying to another country to perform as a guest minister. This decision brought shame and confusion to his spiritual father and the entire church. As a result, his mentor disowned him in front of the church elders after a meeting convened to discuss the embarrassment he had caused.

Driven by greed for money from honorariums, he sought the services of an occult pastor who laid hands on him, disguised as a prayer. In doing so, he lost his anointing and spiritual covering. That night, his spirit was bottled up due to his continued sins, including fornication. The occult pastor, in collusion with the dark forces that had pursued him from birth, supplied him with women, leading him further astray. The kingdom of darkness celebrated the loss of the man they had long targeted; he was now left with a dry anointing, completely unaware.

Months passed, and he and his manager realized they were no longer receiving invitations from significant churches. His manager attempted to reach smaller churches, but no one welcomed them. Even attempts abroad led to mysteriously canceled engagements. When his manager informed him of this, he realized it was not ordinary it was spiritual. He even tried to collaborate with a young gospel singer he had previously dismissed, but that also failed.

The young gospel minister was astonished by the low engagement on their collaborative song, as he had been accustomed to receiving thousands of views. It dawned on him that he had lost his anointing the gifts and graces he once had, as well as his spiritual covering, were no longer with him.

In search of help, he traveled to the United States to meet a pastor who had known him since childhood. He confessed all his sins to the pastor, who admonished him and prayed for him. As he prayed, the binding he experienced was shattered.

After his deliverance, the pastor congratulated him because the yoke had been broken, and he was now free. However, the pastor also told him the hard truth: “Your time and seasons have already passed. Those years of emptiness and lack of engagement were your defining moments.” Every person encounters defining moments in life, and only the mercy of God can restore what was lost. He was told.
