Topic: THE SURE COMPREHENSIVE INSURANCE PACKAGE (The Kingdom Principle)
Anchor Scripture:
Malachi 3:11 declares, "And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the LORD of hosts."
ELABORATION
Malachi 3:11 is a powerful promise from God, assuring us that He will restrain the devourer for our sake. Devourers can come in the form of health challenges, troubles, unaccountable spending, etc.
This divine commitment guarantees that our harvest and the fruits of our labor will be preserved, fostering an environment of prosperity and abundance
. The authority of God is emphasized "saith the LORD of hosts," reminding us of His unwavering power. This verse serves as a profound reminder of God's protection and provision for His people.
A comprehensive insurance policy typically covers damages to vehicles from theft, fire, vandalism, or falling objects. In our devotion, we focus on the "Sure Comprehensive Insurance Package," which extends beyond cars to encompass life, health, home, and more.
Life is governed by principles, just as the Almighty God operates within His kingdom covenants. To thrive as Christians, we must align with these covenants—tithes, offerings, pledges, and charity. This sure promise never fails.
R.G LE TOURNEAU STORY
R.G. Le Tourneau, a multi-millionaire in the United States, exemplified the "Sure Comprehensive Insurance Policy of Tithing." Upon his rebirth, he observed the demand for construction and the inadequacy of machinery. As he dedicated himself to tithing, designs of innovative equipment flooded his dreams
. He collaborated with architects to bring these visions to life. He learned that his tithes were a catalyst for divine inspiration; when he neglected them, the ideas ceased, correlating with a financial deficit equal to his tithes.
THE COTTON FARMER.
A cotton farmer faced devastation as insects ravaged neighboring fields. Armed with his tithes card, he declared, "God rebuke the devourers as you promised in Your Word. My farm must not be damaged." His fervent prayers were met with divine faithfulness, sparing his crops while others suffered. This act of faith led to financial prosperity as cotton prices soared.
LESSON
We learn that our lives are anchored in kingdom principles. Many view tithing as a financial burden, yet it is essential for reaping a fruitful harvest. Sowing into the kingdom holds great significance.
PRAYERS:
Heavenly Father, grant us the desire to follow Your Word, so we may reap the abundant blessings therein. In Jesus' mighty name, amen.
