Anchor Scripture: "The children of Issachar understood the times and knew what Israel should do." - 1 Chronicles 12:32 (KJV).
The story of the children of Issachar happened during a tough time in Israel. After King Saul's death, David was in hiding, and everyone was confused about what to do—except for the tribe of Issachar.
It’s vital to know how to respond to our current situation. What made the Issachar tribe special was their understanding of when to act. Throughout history, we've had various eras, each with its own challenges.
DIFFERENT ERAS:
- Agricultural Era: 1770s
- Industrial Revolution Era: 1880s
- Computer Revolution Era: 1980s
- Internet Revolution Era: 1990s
- Information Revolution Era: 2010
-Social Media Era: 2020s
WHERE ARE WE NOW?
We are in the Social Media Era. Use social media for your business and skills. It's easy to learn new things online. Being a prayer warrior is great, but you also need to take action and create an income.
Tips TO SURVIVE THE HARSH TIMES
UNDERSTAND YOUR TIME:Know what era we are in and use it to your advantage. Share your skills and passions with others.
2. PRAY FOR WISDOM:Ask for the understanding that the sons of Issachar had, so you can recognize opportunities and help those around you.
CREATE VALUE:Focus on how you can provide value to others. The more value you create, the more resources you will have.
4. CONNECT WITH OTHERS: Use social media to network, promote your work, and showcase your talents. Your message can reach many people.
HIGHLIGHTS OF TODAY:
Be recognized for something specific. Share your interests, whether it’s beautiful photos or unique skills. Your consistent posts could even turn into a side job if you’re passionate.
Remember, it’s easy for people to forget you if you disappear from social media.
REFLECTION:
Take a moment to think about how you can engage with this time and ask the Lord for more understanding.
PRAYERS:
May the Lord give us understanding in all things, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
