Anchor Scripture:

In an interview with CBN, U.S.-based author Randy Kay shared his near-death experience that occurred several years ago.

According to him, he went through a severe medical crisis that almost claimed his life. Initially, he noticed that his calf had become swollen while he was along the coast of San Diego but chose to ignore it. To make matters worse, he went on a bike ride without realizing that his calf had swollen to almost double its size. When he sought medical attention, he collapsed and was rushed to the emergency room.

There, doctors informed him that he was lucky to be alive. They discovered seven blood clots—one near his heart and six blocking crucial arteries in his lungs. He had also contracted a dangerous infection called MRSA, which had entered his bloodstream. At one point, he lost consciousness and was later pronounced clinically dead.

What happened to the supernatural?

Randy described, “I immediately saw my body lying still, and at first, it felt like someone was tugging at my hospital gown.” He later realized that this was his spirit leaving his body. Though looking down at his still body, he recognized that it was his body, but it did not represent who he truly was.

He recalled being transported into a different realm, witnessing a spiritual battle over his body. In that moment, he shouted the name “Jesus.” He saw a figure whom he identified as Jesus. This glimpse into the supernatural profoundly changed his life.
