Title

There Is Always Hope: Hope for the Hopeless. (Mesothelioma Hope Advocacy Free Resources Center for Cancer Patients)

Anchor Scripture:

Proverbs 13:12 NLT

“Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but a dream fulfilled is a tree of life.”

Devotional Reading:

Years ago, I visited a friend's house, whose husband had been ill for some time. When I arrived, a man opened the door for me while I was trying to greet him and probably ask about the residents of the house. He welcomed me warmly and asked about my family. I was shocked because it turned out to be the voice of the man I had come to check on regarding his health, as he had lost a lot of weight.

Before that time, he was a strong, energetic man in his late forties and a clergyman. In my mind, I quickly thanked God because I initially thought he was someone visiting, maybe a family member. While I was still wondering how he could be feeling, I told him I was asking after his wife, who was actually my friend.

I thought he would feel terrible because he probably knew I couldn't recognize him due to his illness. He later called his wife out. During our conversation, I found out he was suffering from cancer. He said very sincerely, “I am also on the necessary medical treatment, not only prayers, because I know God heals in many ways: So I have hope.” And this is the message of today,

Many times, Christians feel lost during a health crisis. Being alone and fighting can be so exhausting, others do not seek help or ask for assistance. All of these stem from ignorance.

What a sick person needs during this time is more love. Because illnesses can be exhausting and draining both physically and emotionally. It’s important to connect with people, especially community and faith-based groups, for spiritual nourishment. One such organization is “Mesothelioma Hope.”

According to its Advocacy Associate,

Jamie Fariah:

“Mesothelioma Hope is a patient advocacy organization (mesotheliomahope.com) founded by medical and legal advocates.

Our team includes registered nurses, patient advocates, and experienced health journalists.

All of our services and resources, including patient support, educational guides, and advocate assistance, are completely free for patients and families.
