Anchor Scripture:

Psalm 46:1 kjv "God is our refuge and strength an ever present help in times of trouble..”

Let me share this short story. There was a Christian soldier whose platoon was ambushed by the enemy.

All the other soldiers in his platoon escaped but somehow, he could not.

As the enemies footsteps grew louder, and got closer to him. He could only muttered a little prayer in fear. ' O LORD help me, he prayed.".

Suddenly, out of nowhere a huge spider came and started spinning webs around the mouth of the cave he was hiding. When the enemy troop got there, they searched all the caves around there, and did not see anyone ( because they were sure they heard some footsteps that stopped abruptly).

When they got to the cave with the spiderwebs , they did not bother to enter,. Because they reasoned amongst themselves that nobody had enter the cave for years!. What an awesome God!.

Our God is a very present help in times of trouble,. He is always on time.

That is why he is called the God of the eleventh hour,.

Psalm 46:1 says, "God is our refuge and strength an ever present help in times of trouble.." Says our Anchor Scripture of today

For those who call on him in times of trouble, he doesn't cast out.

THE BIBLE ACCOUNT

He showed up for the children of Israel in the Red sea, in the wilderness, etc.

He showed up for Daniel and his friends in the furnace of fire,

and then again for Daniel in the Den of lions.

COUNSEL:

Whatever the situation that you may be going through today . meditate on Psalm 46:1. And let your heart be at peace.

PRAYERS:

May the peace of God that passes all understanding be with you all in Jesus name amen
