Topic::Hammer the Devil's Head

Anchor Scripture: Psalm 34:1 (NLT) — "I will praise the LORD at all times. I will constantly speak his praises."

An occultist who became a born-again Christian shared insights in a series of interviews. When asked what the occult feared most about Christians, he replied, “Worship, praise, and speaking in tongues.” He explained that when Christians are joyful, it hinders their work, and the act of speaking in tongues confuses them.

Did you hear that your joy, happiness, and the gift of the Holy Spirit can seriously undermine the devil? This is why, in this second quarter, you must focus on cultivating your joy. Be intentional about praising God, regardless of your feelings, to effectively "hammer the devil's head."

Remember, God is seeking true worshipers. While He can do everything, He cannot worship Himself. This is why He has legions of angels in heaven, singing His praises day and night.

What Happens When You Praise God?

- God fights your battles for you.

- He provides what you truly need, even when you may not realize it.

- He offers you an "open check," much like He did for King Solomon.

- He takes care of your struggles.

- Your heart is filled with joy, leading to better health.

Our Anchor Scripture encourages us to praise the Lord at all times. Each time you rejoice in the Lord, you strike a blow against the devil. Your praises are like fertilizer, helping whatever you plant in the Spirit to flourish.

Friends, embrace the gift of the Holy Spirit by speaking in tongues. It is essential for defeating the devil's tactics. By praying in the Spirit, you deny the devil the ability to hear your prayers; it is a language he cannot comprehend.

Our Lesson Today: Make a conscious decision to praise God. If you don’t feel like it, play some worship songs. If you feel the urge to dance, put on some praise music and dance!

Prayers: Dear Lord, thank you for all that You are doing in our lives. Please grant us the grace to worship and praise You when we are happy and even when we are not, for this is Your will for us in Christ Jesus. Amen.
