Before Zerubbabel, thou shalt become a plain: and he shall bring forth the headstone thereof with shouts, crying, Grace, grace unto it.”Welcome to this beautiful day! Let us rejoice and be glad in it, in Jesus' name, amen. We are all familiar with the biblical story of how David killed Goliath with a sling and a stone. Though we don't have physical Goliaths to contend with today, modern Goliaths manifest for the children of God in the form of challenges, problems, mountains, hindrances, and strongholds.Anything that prevents you from fulfilling your potential is a Goliath. However, did you know that your Goliath may not be as strong as it appears? In the Bible, Goliath harassed Israel for many days, taunting them. Yet it was just a young David, armed with a sling, who was able to bring him down. HOW TO KILL YOUR GOLIATH First and foremost, you must believe that your Goliath is not as formidable as he appears. With God's help, you have been working through prayer, perhaps fasting, reading the Word of God, and meditating. David prepared himself in the fields by fighting bears and other animals that threatened his father's sheep. You must identify its vulnerable area; every challenge has a weak point where you can strike with the right "sling and stone."Locate that area with your sling, and you will see your Goliath crumble like a pack of cards.OUR LESSON TODAY David, with God's help, recognized that Goliath had an exposed spot on his forehead. He aimed for that weak point.Remember, every problem has an expiration date. Problems are not permanent if you do not give up.REFLECTIONPrayerfully assess your Goliath today. Ask God to reveal its vulnerable area and guide you on how to bring it down.PRAYER:Heavenly Father, we ask for your grace to face our challenges and overcome them in Jesus' name, amen.IF YOU LOVED THIS, THEN YOU CAN READ MORE ON OUR NEW EBOOK ON AMAZON.COM
