INTRODUCTION:* Recently, I saw an advertisement for an alcoholic beverage with the slogan, "Enjoy the Brighter Side of Life." The ad portrayed people looking gloomy until someone shared the drink, causing their faces to light up with joy. As believers, we know that we don’t need such substances to bring laughter or color to our lives. Life in Christ is beautiful and full of light, as Matthew 5:14 tells us that we are the light of the world, a city set on a hill that cannot be hidden. Regardless of the challenges we face—whether on the dark side or the gloomy side—this devotion aims to guide you in unlocking the colorful side of life, which is essential for attracting goodness.

*WHY A COLOURFUL LIFE MATTERS:

1. ATTRACTION:*Everyone desires a colorful life to attract positive experiences. You need color not only to shine, but also to outshine others. Colors symbolize the favor of God, which is not only to excel but to stand out among your peers.

2. OUTSHINE/OUTCLASS OTHERS: A colorful life is one filled with divine favors, grace, and mercy. Such a life is distinguished, stress-free, and seems to draw blessings from every direction.

3. REIGNING AS A KING: Your words carry weight; the Bible says that where the word of a king is, there is power. Living a colorful life expands your sphere of influence.

HOW CAN I HAVE A COLOURFUL LIFE?

1. OPTIMISM:** The first step toward a colorful life is changing your perspective. A life of optimism is one of hope and joy, free from gloom. Focus on the positives rather than complaining. Consider these points:

- No matter how dark or gloomy life can get, there is always light at the end of the tunnel.

- Even amidst dark clouds, there is a silver lining.

- The darkest part of the night always comes just before dawn.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF LIVING A COLOURFUL LIFE?

1. ATTRACTION:* Your colorful life will naturally draw quality people to you because, as a light, others are drawn to the light.

2. PURPOSEFUL LIFE:* You cannot live a colorful life and be a nonentity. When you radiate color, you fulfill your purpose as the salt of the earth.

3. SHINING: Living a glorious life in Christ means shining in every area. You can show the glory of the Lord when His light shines upon you (Isaiah 60:1).

4. THE ENEMY IS BLINDED: Job 38:15 mentions how enemies dislike brightness. Your colorful life will blind the enemy; they can only see in the dark, and as long as you are in the light, they cannot see you.

5. THE GLORY OF GOD: When you are full of light, you become a carrier of divine glory. Isaiah 60 indicates that the abundance of the earth will reach you.

6. FAVOUR:* You will attract favor wherever you go because you carry His divine presence and mercy.

HOW CAN I UNLOCK THE SECRET OF A COLOURFUL LIFE?

1. BE HUMBLE: God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble. Rely on Him fully, and He will provide what you need, often in ways you never expected.

2. BE WORDED: The secret of the Lord is with those who fear Him, and He will reveal His covenant to them (Psalm 25:14). This intimacy grants you His counsel and covers you with His glory.

3. *PRAISE:* God loves to be worshiped. Although He can do everything for Himself, He cannot worship Himself. The Bible says God inhabits the praises of His people (Psalm 22:3). Start praising Him and witness how His presence fills your life.

4. MEDITATION: Unlocking the secret to a colorful life requires meditation—spending time in silence, digesting His word, and allowing God to speak to you. Psalm 91 emphasizes the importance of being in the secret place.

5. PRAYERS:* God desires daily communication with us. Like a parent guiding a child, He wants us to walk in His light and reveal the plans He has for us. If we do not communicate with Him, how will we receive guidance on the path ahead?

CONCLUSION: God wants all His children to experience a colorful life. You are equipped with spiritual blessings that are already present; it is your responsibility to claim them through righteous living.
