Topic: A Ghanaian man claimed the world will end on December 25.*Anchor Scripture: Hosea 4:6 KJV

"My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee..."

It's a beautiful day in Jesus' name, amen.

A man named “Ebojesus” claims that the world will end this year on December 25. He has gained attention on social media by building an ark for this supposed end of the world.

His project has stirred up criticism, skepticism, and curiosity online. Many people are questioning his mental health, while others suggest he might just be a content creator. Some think he is not in his right mind.

However, we should consider what the Bible says about the end of the world. In the past, there have been false prophecies, like when a man named “Harold Camping” predicted in 2011 that the world would end and told people to sell their belongings.

The Bible does not specify a date for the end of the world but mentions signs that will happen, such as an increase in knowledge, wars, love growing cold, the rise of the Anti-Christ, and other signs.

It is unwise to say a specific date for the end, as it will happen suddenly and unexpectedly. No one knows the exact time, not even the angels in heaven.

Our anchor scripture says that people who refuse to seek or accept knowledge are heading toward destruction. Some individuals are even building safe houses in response to these claims.

As for Ebojesus, God promised not to destroy the Earth with water again (Genesis 9:8-17). Next time, He will use fire. So, it’s puzzling why an ark is being built.

Reflection:*Today, we learn to read God's word more to avoid ignorance regarding God’s plan for our lives.

Prayers: Dear Lord, thank you for the plans you have for us. You do not wish for anyone to perish but to have eternal life. Please help us to read your word and understand your will for us, in Jesus' name, amen.
