7 Ways to Access Financial Dominion in 2026
Scriptural Reference: Deuteronomy 8:18 (NIV)
"But remember the LORD your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth, and so confirms his covenant, which he swore to your ancestors, as it is today."
Welcome and be blessed in Jesus' name. One of the reasons strong nations of the world dominate weaker nations is their financial might. For example, countries like the United States, China, and the United Kingdom command substantial resources. Nations often wage war on perceived weaker nations to conquer their resources, which helps them achieve financial dominion. This phenomenon has been occurring since biblical times and continues in our world today.
The United States, for instance, holds significant financial dominion, allowing it to influence other nations. Just as countries require financial strength to command resources and gain respect, God also desires to grant financial dominion to His children. He wants us to command nations, cities, and kingdoms for His purpose. Let's explore the keys to accessing this dominion.
7 Keys to Access Financial Dominion**
1. Strength: In biblical history, Jacob was the first to use strength to prevail against a human entity, as described in Genesis 32:22-32. This account narrates how Jacob wrestled with an angel until daybreak. The angel implored Jacob to let him go, but Jacob insisted that the angel must bless him first. The struggle even resulted in Jacob dislocating his thigh. Ultimately, Jacob was blessed, transforming from an individual into a nation—Israel—in just one day.
2. Lion Heart: To achieve financial dominion, you must possess a strong heart to claim what is rightfully yours. Proverbs 30:30 describes the lion as fearless, confident, and strong among the beasts of the field. The lion pursues what it desires. When a lion roars, other animals take notice or seek cover. Research indicates that lions roar to mark their territory. Therefore, it requires a lion's heart to access financial dominion.
3. Empowerment of the Spirit: You need empowerment from God, which comes through discernment. This allows you to sense what is right or wrong. Additionally, you must be prepared to fight against procrastination and seek God's help to develop the right spirit needed to enter a vast financial realm.
4. Strong Hands: Firm hands are essential for conquering substantial resources. The realm of financial dominion is not for the lazy; it belongs to the diligent—those who pay attention to detail and go the extra mile to accomplish tasks. Proverbs 10:4 (NASB) states, "Poor is he who works with a negligent hand, But the hand of the diligent makes rich." If you work while others are asleep, your hands will be recognized as diligent and will command resources.
5. God's Favor: The Israelites did not enter the land because of their might or strength, but because of God's favor. Psalm 45:1-3 emphasizes the importance of favor. While hard work is essential, it is sometimes not enough. You need God's approval to confirm you are on the right path. A jack like a jack used to change car tires—many people may struggle to lift the car, but with a jack, one person can change the tire effortlessly. Favor provides speed and reduces stress, making tasks easier. The Israelites understood that it was not the strength of their forefathers that allowed them to possess the land, but God's favor. Therefore, to achieve massive financial dominion, you need a level of favor from God.
6. Trust in God: Trusting God will reveal hidden riches. Many opportunities for high financial returns exist, but many people remain unaware because their understanding has not been opened by God. This is what is meant by "treasures of darkness." Until God opens your eyes and grants you understanding, you may not recognize where significant resources lie. For instance, some individuals found financial success during the coronavirus lockdown by working from home, while others profited during economic downturns by purchasing and renovating properties for resale when the market recovered. It takes God’s grace to illuminate your understanding of where certain resources are located.
7. Prayer: I have previously shared the story of an American businessman who dedicated a space in his home as an "upper room." He would retreat there to pray before making any investment decisions. If he sensed a green light from God, he would proceed; if he received a yellow light, he would hold off.
These keys can guide you toward financial dominion as you trust in God's plan and purpose for your life.
