Topic: LOCATION DETERMINES ALLOCATION (2)

Anchor Scripture: Psalm 65:11 - "You crown the year with your goodness, and your paths drip with abundance."

Welcome to another beautiful day! May you be blessed as you read this. Amen. Yesterday, we learned that location affects the provision we receive. Today, let’s look at some Bible characters to see how their locations helped them.

BIBLICAL EXAMPLES:

The Widow of Zarephath (1 Kings 17:9, KJV)

God told the prophet Elijah to go to Zarephath to help a widow during a famine. If the widow had not been in the right place, she might have starved.

Naaman the Syrian Soldier (2 Kings 5:10)

When Elijah told Naaman to wash in the River Jordan seven times to be healed, Naaman was angry. He thought the rivers in his country were cleaner. But he listened to a servant girl and obeyed. After washing in the River Jordan, he was healed.

OUR LESSON TODAY:

If Naaman had chosen a different river, he would not have been healed. There are many other examples in the Bible, but these two make the point clear.

Friends, our location affects where our blessings and provisions come from, and this is connected to our obedience to God.

If you have been praying but aren’t receiving answers, ask yourself if you are in the right location.

PRAYER:

Heavenly Father, we apologize if we have not followed your guidance. Please lead us so we do not miss our blessings, in Jesus' name. Amen.
